Chief Signatory Relations Officer at Principles for Responsible Investment

He designs its strategy and oversees the implementation support of existing signatories, recruitment of new signatories and the local implementation of global PRI initiatives.

Previously he led the PRI’s Investment Practices, Investor Engagements and Reporting and Assessment teams. During this time, he launched the first ever in house global responsible investment reporting framework, which over 3,000 institutional investors use today.

In his career, Lorenzo held project manager and financial analyst roles at UniCredit and MicroRate, overseeing microfinance initiatives and advising on responsible investments. He also served as an independent consultant for the World Bank and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

He holds a joint MBA/Masters in International Public Policy from SDA Bocconi, Milan and SAIS – Johns Hopkins, Washington, D.C and a BA in Business and Economics from the Università Cattolica, Milan.
